Objective

The humankind is facing an epidemic once a century. As India’s youth grows in population, this championship aims to prepare them with the idea “Aap Bacho, Desh Ko Bachao” from Covid-19. There will be a series of such competitions like online quizzes, online trainings/counselling organized for students. Participants will be awarded with certificates and will be given a chance to contribute towards the nation’s fight against Covid-19.

Lead India Foundation with “Acharya –Kalam’s Human Transformative Model” has conducted “Aap Badho Desh Ko Badhao” training to more than 1.8 million students for their individual development which has led to their family’s development and hence national development.

Purpose of Questions

  • Acts as a means of entry into the Lead India Championship
  • A few questions are designed in a way to make the youth navigate their thoughts in the right direction
  • Questions are aimed at inculcating right values and behavior in youth
  • Questions also aim at generating pride in our nationality and spirit of India
  • Completing the questions can also generate a sense of satisfaction, receiving the certificate could generate pride and confidence.

 General Instructions

  • The candidate should nominate himself/herself to participate in Covid-19 Lead India Championship, which consists of 3 levels. All students are eligible for the 3 levels.
  • There will be an assignment at the end of each level (e.g., Proof of Video of contribution, Essay, debates etc.)
  • Based on candidate’s performance in the quiz and assignments, they will be promoted to the next levels (Level-2 & Level-3)
  • All participants will receive ’Covid-19 Warrior certificate’ from Lead India Foundation.
  • All the assignments produced/presented are evaluated by appointed judges whose decision will be final.

Covid-19 Lead India Championship format has 3 levels of competitions.

  • Level 1 (Last Date: 25 July-2020): Level one mainly consists of multiple-choice questions(Q1 to Q50).
  • Questions I, II and III at the beginning of level 1 are mandatory to move to level-2. Briefing of questions I, II and III are provided below which need to be prepared prior to taking the quiz.
  • Q I:  One has to write in short their previous community service.
  • Q II: Formulate an oath of your own daily practices of your self, family and community to fight Covid-19 and such viruses (100 words)
  • Q III: Video statement: Please take a maximum of two minutes( Max of 120 seconds)  to tell the world how you think we, as Indians, should fight corona virus. Include a bit on your past experience and why Lead India is the best platform for you to propagate your ideas. Videos should be a single take (no editing) lasting no more than one minute and consisting of you speaking directly to the camera. Should you experience difficulties uploading your file, please ensure that you’re using a modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Safari) on the fastest wired internet connection available. An intermittent or slow internet connection can cause uploads to timeout. Please upload the video on Youtube and share a link in the space provided. Please mark it as “unlisted”. We will not be able to see videos marked as “private”. It is the responsibility of the participant to make sure you have listed the right link.
  • Level 2 (State Level) (Last Date: 3-Aug-2020): Based on the candidate’s performance in Level 1, he/she will move to the next level. In Level-2, candidates will need to do research on given topics and prepare essays which will be evaluated by academicians. All short-listed candidates (State Toppers) in Level -2 will be felicitated in an event organized by Lead India Foundation.
  • Level 3 (Country Level) (Last Date: 30-Sept-2020): All State toppers across the country will be eligible for Level 3 Challenge. In this Challenge, candidates will be asked to debate on their research findings, contributions made to fight Corona and beyond. The topper at the National level will be awarded as Lead India Commander, runner up as Lead India Captain and all state toppers as Fighters at an event organized by Lead India Foundation.
