Inspired by the vision of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Lead India Foundation continues to drive citizen-led movements connecting individual responsibility with national progress. As part of Earth Week 2026, an impactful Earth Day awareness program was conducted on April 22, 2026 at KBR National Park, Hyderabad.
Purpose & Message
The program inspired citizens—especially youth—to adopt sustainable lifestyles and contribute to a greener future.
Dr. N. B. Sudershan Acharya Acharya Lead India, Founder of Lead India Foundation, addressed the gathering: “Nature has gifted us invaluable resources. Protecting them is our collective responsibility. Pollution and climate change threaten future generations.” He emphasized that small individual actions can create large-scale environmental impact.

The event saw active participation from youth, volunteers, and Lead India team members including Rani Karanam, Narasimha Sai, Mohan Patil, Pavan Acharya, Upendar, and Dattu.

A strong message was delivered on building a plastic-free society and adopting eco-friendly alternatives.
